This letter in which we got the sad news says, "She was a devoted and dutiful wife, and the same christian woman as when she left Mississippi.  She died as calm and brave as christians only can. There is no question of her eternal salvation.  She had borne 4 children, one par twins - all girls wince she moved to the Territory, and they are all living.

Captain Standley and his excellent wife were formerly citizens of this place, and have many warm friends so sympathized in his afflictions.
